Sales Volume Study Shows Changes In Market

Help Needed To Repeal New 1099 Reporting With Congress

Mark Chipchase, Dan Pigott and Ron Remer are new sales representatives for Reno, Nevada, supplier Skagen Designs (UPIC:SKAG0001). Chipchase from MAC Marketing will be Skagen’s rep in Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Maryland. Pigott from Big East Promotions will represent the company in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Remer from Big East Promotions will represent the company in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
Helene Doherty is a new member of the customer service staff at Taunton, Maine, supplier Ad-A-Day (UPIC: AD-A-Day).
Robin Hand, Dan Livengood, and Sara Umbarger have joined Portland, Oregon, distributor Newton Manufacturing Company (UPIC: NEWTON). Hand and Livengood will be senior sales managers in the eastern region and western region, respectively. Hand has 27 years of experience in selling and sales leadership in the promotional advertising industry. Livengood has 20 years experience in full-service agency sales, sales management, promotional advertising, marketing, public relations and graphic arts. Umbarger, with 12 years experience in promotional products, will be a customer sales consultant.
Tampa, Florida, supplier BIC Graphic USA (UPIC: BIC) has made the following changes in personnel: John Henkel is senior account manager in the western region for BIC Graphic USA. David McMullen is regional sales manager, east. Marla Pak is regional sales manager, west. Liza Sachs is regional sales manager, central. Matt Storlien is senior account manager in the Western region. Mike McMillan is regional sales manager, west, for Indianapolis, Indiana, supplier Norwood (UPIC: NORWOOD). Lisa LeMond is international account manager for both companies.
Meagan Rodas recently joined the Austin, Texas, distributor PrintGlobe Inc. (UPIC: PrintGlo) as a customer support assistant. Rodas was in sales support at Hotlink, Inc.
Tim Rosica has been named a sales representative for Cedar Rapids, Iowa, supplier Cedar Crest Manufacturing (UPIC: CCM). His territory will be Maryland, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware.
Michael Kogutt, MAS, has been hired as vice president of sales for Fairfield, New Jersey, supplier Points of Light (UPIC: 1PTSOLGT). A 26-year industry veteran, Kogutt was most recently vice president of sales for Houston, Texas, supplier Landes, Inc. (UPIC: LANDES) Previously, he was vice president of sales for Dallas, Texas, supplier Senator Promotional Group USA/Dart Business Accessories and Dart Manufacturing Company (UPIC: DART). Kogutt was an active board member of the CAS/MAS Alumni Association for five years, serving in all offices including one term as president. He has also volunteered for two-year terms each on the PPAI Education Committee and PPAI Membership Services Committee.
Premier Group Awards Scholarships
Arlington Heights, Illinois, distributor Premier Group (UPIC: PREMP003) awarded two $1,000 scholarships for academic achievement as part of a new program established this year. The winners were Dustin Baellow, whose parents, Ron and Janet Baellow, own Troy, Virginia, distributor company, Bright Ideas (UPIC: BRTIDEAS) and Jacob Lampen, whose father, Ron Lampen, works for Zeeland, Michigan, supplier company Howard Miller Company (UPIC: clocks). Both candidates were exemplary in academic achievement and in community and extra-curricular activities. Baellow plans to attend Randolph-Macon College where he will study business and play soccer. Lampen will study engineering at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
