WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

A distributor asks: "Is it a good idea to send out a company report card to clients and ask for their feedback? I'd like to know if they're satisfied with our services and what we could do to serve them better, but I don'’t want to open a whole can of worms about pricing or services we're not equipped to offer right now."

What's your answer? E-mail answers along with your name, title and company name to Question@ppai.org by February 15 for possible inclusion in the April issue of PPB magazine.

Answers to this month’s question are in. Click here » to read advice on how to deal with a competitor who is calling on your clients.

An Abundance Of Accolades
The location may have been Las Vegas, but last month’s PPAI Awards Presentation & Dinner at the PPAI Expo 2010 was all Hollywood. This gold-star gala, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, was an evening overflowing with much-deserved recognition, plus the chance to catch up with colleagues over dinner and drinks.

Your Ad Here
Advertising legend Steuart Henderson Britt once said, “Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you are doing, but nobody else does.” This is business 101. However, the way in which an advertiser chooses to market his or her message is where strategy, innovation and an in-depth knowledge of the audience comes into play.

Mobile Marketing
Text message or mobile marketing as it’s also called is a new way to reach consumers via their cell phones using text messaging and related technologies. And, because it is permission based, it’s quite different from e-mail, direct mail, telemarketing and most other media.
