Canadian Promotional Products Group Names New President Ahad has worked for Pointe-Claire, Quebec-based supplier Souvenir Avanti Inc. since 1990. He also served on the Quebec Chapter of PPPC from 1996 to 2001 as well as the National Board of Directors from 2002-2008, where he served as chairman in 2007. "Ed brings many years of experience in this industry with him," says Lynda Gallant, CAS, chair of the PPPC National Board of Directors. "His proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, as well as his desire to tackle new challenges, will serve Ed well as he begins this next phase of his career." Promotional Products Sales At Nearly $4 Billion In Canada The increase is attributed in part to the effectiveness and flexibility of promotional products, says PPPC Chair Lynda Gallant, CAS. "While this represents a drop from the 13 percent compound annual growth rate our industry has enjoyed for the past 15 years, it is still indicative of the growing popularity of promotional products as effective marketing and communications vehicles," says Gallant. "We are very satisfied with this indicator, considering the overall performance of the Canadian economy." Click here to read more.
