Promotional Products Help Gulf Oil Cleanup Efforts
Many Americans are looking for places to donate to the oil spill clean-up efforts in the Gulf. One promotional products company, Kinsport, Tennesee, supplier Lifeforce Glass, Inc. PPEF Awards $100,000 In College Scholarships
The Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) has announced its scholarship award winners for 2010. In total, 69 new scholarships worth $72,000 were awarded by PPEF to industry employees or their children. In addition, PPEF is making another $28,000 in renewal payments to 25 previous winners of the Four-Year and Chairman’s Scholarships for a grand total of $100,000. Read more

The purpose of the meeting, one of a number of sessions held around the country, was for the government agency to assess needs and challenges in implementing injury and illness prevention programs. Connecticut Bans Cadmium In Children’s Jewelry
Connecticut joins Minnesota in regulating cadmium in children’s jewelry. A law passed in early June in Connecticut states no person shall manufacture, sell, offer for sale or distribute any children's jewelry that contains cadmium at more than .0075 percent by weight after July 2014. Read more

Head will oversee the company’s marketing initiatives, including all advertising, printing, mailings, production of sales materials, Prime’s website, tradeshows, public relations and electronic marketing. She will also continue to oversee the sample department.
